서천군, '아이돌봄서비스 본인부담금' 지원 본격화

충남 서천군이 자녀 양육에 드는 경제적 부담을 완화하기 위해 '아이돌봄서비스 본인부담금 지원 사업'을 본격적으로 시행한다.

이를 위해 군은 지난 9일 ‘서천군 아이돌봄서비스 지원 조례’를 제정하고, 해당 사업의 행정 절차를 마무리하며 실행에 돌입했다. 이 사업은 맞벌이 등으로 돌봄이 어려운 가정의 양육 부담을 줄이기 위한 것으로, 자녀 양육 여건 개선을 위한 실질적인 지원책으로 평가된다.

아이돌봄서비스는 생후 3개월부터 만 12세 이하 아동을 둔 가정을 대상으로, 전문 돌보미가 직접 가정을 방문해 아이의 생활 돌봄 및 놀이활동을 제공하는 정부 주도의 맞춤형 돌봄 프로그램이다. 특히 양육 공백 시간에 안전한 보육 환경을 제공한다는 점에서 수요가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다.

김기웅 서천군수는 “이번 본인부담금 지원을 통해 아이돌봄서비스 이용 문턱이 낮아지길 바란다”며 “아이 키우기 좋은 환경을 조성하기 위해 앞으로도 실효성 있는 육아 지원 정책을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
