거창군생활개선회는 지난 12일, 미래농업복합교육관에서 회원 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년 한국생활개선회 거창군연합회 농작업 안전리더 현장활동 발대식’을 개최하고, 농업인 안전재해예방 교육을 실시했다.
거창군생활개선회 농작업 안전리더들은 오는 9월 말까지 농촌 현장을 순회하며 농업인들의 온열질환 예방 실천과 홍보 활동을 펼칠 예정이다. 회원들은 이번 행사를 통해 안전한 농작업 환경 조성에 앞장설 것을 다짐했다.
행사에서는 농작업 안전관리 결의문을 낭독하며 농작업 안전의 중요성을 되새겼고, '농업인 365캠페인'을 통해 일상 속 안전 수칙 준수를 실천하겠다는 의지를 다졌다.
현장에서는 폭염에 대응하기 위한 농작업 안전장비인 조끼, 모자, 안전마스크 등이 회원들에게 배부되었으며 이어진 교육에서는 한국농어촌안전연구소 강사가 기본적인 농작업 안전 수칙과 현장 위험 요소 자가 진단 방법, 사고 예방 및 개선 방안 등을 설명했다.

거창군은 지난 8일 2025년 집중안전점검 추진과 관련하여 이병철 거창군 부군수와 함께 거창 청년임대주택 건립 건축공사장을 방문해 현장점검을 실시했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 부군수와 산업안전 전문가, 관련 부서 공무원 등 총 7명이 참여한 가운데 공사장 내 안전시설과 장비 관리 상태, 산업안전보건법 준수 여부 등을 중점적으로 점검했다.
