남양주시,초등학생 척추측만증 조기 검진 시작

이 사업은 고려대학교 부설 척추측만증연구소가 용역을 맡아 운영하며, 구리남양주교육지원청과 협력해 관내 초등학교의 신청을 받아 진행하고 있다.

 

시는 검진에서 유소견으로 판정된 아동을 대상으로 전문간호사의 개별 치료 상담과 예방법 교육 등 맞춤형 지원을 하고, 특히 올해에는 척추측만증 예방을 위한 운동프로그램을 추가로 운영하는 등 사후관리에 노력을 기울일 계획이다.

 

시 관계자는 “학생들의 자세 건강은 단순한 신체 문제를 넘어 학습 집중도와 정서 발달에도 영향을 미친다”라며 “이번 조기 검진 사업이 더욱 많은 아동에게 도움이 될 수 있도록 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이며, 학부모와 학교의 많은 관심과 적극적인 참여를 바란다”라고 밝혔다.

 

올해는 관내 69개 초등학교 중 59개 학교가 참여를 신청해 85.5%의 참여율을 기록했으며, 이는 지난해 37개교(참여율 53.6%)보다 1.59배 증가한 수치로, 사업의 수혜 대상이 크게 확대될 것으로 기대된다.
