[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 김해시여성기업인협의회 제13대 회장에 경원특장(주) 임영경(56) 대표가 취임했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이·취임식은 오후 5시 김해 아이스퀘어호텔 3층 그랜드볼룸에서 개최됐으며 박완수 경남도지사, 홍태용 김해시장, 최학범 경남도의회 의장, 안선환 김해시의회 의장, 손한국 경남지방중소벤처기업청장을 비롯한 경남지역 중소기업 지원기관장과 지역 경제인, 협의회 회원 등 150여 명이 참석했다.
신임 임영경 회장은 한림면에 위치한 콘크리트 펌프카 제조업체 경원특장(주)의 대표로 2003년 창립 이후 22년간 회사를 이끌어온 지역 대표 여성 기업인이다. 이날 김해시미래인재장학재단 장학금 기탁식이 함께 있었는데, 경원특장(주) 4,500만원, 여성기업인협의회 500만원을 포함 총 5,000만원을 쾌척했다.
또 여성기업인협의회에서는 지난 3월 김해 한림에서 발생한 산불로 인해 고생한 소방관들을 위해 동부서방서와 서부소방서에 각 200만원 상당의 위문품(체력단련 기구)을 전달했다.
임 회장은 취임사에서 “여성의 탁월한 감각과 유연한 리더십을 바탕으로 지역경제 발전에 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
