“국민의 마음을 관통하는 메시지를 재정립해야”
선거는 전쟁이다. 명분과 실리, 전략과 전술, 의지와 절박함이 충돌하는 전면전이다. 여기서 이기는 쪽은 단 하나, 더 준비된 자, 더 간절한 자다. 하지만 지금의 김문수를 바라보면, 그 어떤 전장의 긴장감도 느껴지지 않는다. 이기겠다는 의지는 흐릿하고, 절박함은 실종됐다. 전략적 결단도 없고, 시대정신을 꿰뚫는 메시지도 없다. 신선한 콘텐츠도, 민심을 뒤흔들 '한 방'도 보이지 않는다.
선거는 과거의 유산이 아닌, 현재의 민심 위에서 치러진다. 그럼에도 불구하고 여전히 익숙한 언어, 고정 지지층만을 향한 메아리에 갇혀 있다. 외연 확장은커녕, 정치적 연대와 통합의 '빅텐트' 전략조차 실종됐다. 정치가 살아있는 생물이라는데 너무나 정적이다. 생기가 없고, 전환의 움직임도 보이지 않는다.
무엇보다 문제는 ‘승부수의 부재’다. 전세를 뒤집을 의지도, 그것을 실행할 용기도 실종됐다. 메시지는 흩어지고, 콘텐츠는 생명력을 잃었으며, 리더십은 중심을 잃어가고 있다. 이는 유권자들 앞에서 침묵으로 일관하는 것과 다를 바 없다. 이런 방향 상실의 정치는 필연적으로 패배로 귀결된다. 흐름은 이미 기울었고, 마치 불을 향해 날아드는 나방처럼, 자신도 모르게 패배를 향해 돌진하고 있다. 다소 과한 비유일 수 있으나, 중요한 것은 이 무력감 속에 위기의식조차 희미해지고 있다는 사실이다.
정치는 기적을 기다리는 자가 아니라, 기적을 만드는 자의 무대다. 지금이라도 늦지 않았다. 판을 바꿔야 한다. 강단 있는 결단과 통합의 리더십으로, 다시 한번 전략가들을 소환하고, 국민의 마음을 관통하는 메시지를 재정립해야 한다. 어중간한 타협과 모호한 방향성으로는 아무것도 바꿀 수 없다.
지금 김문수는 역사의 갈림길에 서 있다. 그대로 절벽을 향해 돌진할 것인가, 아니면 용기 있게 방향을 틀 것인가. 역사는 언제나 반전을 준비한 자에게 열린다. 그리고 승부수를 던진 자만이, 패배가 아닌 미래를 말할 자격이 있다. jeongkeekim@naver.com

An election is a war. It is an all-out war where justification and practicality, strategy and tactics, will and desperation collide. The will to win is vague, and the desperation has disappeared. There is no strategic decision, and no message that penetrates the spirit of the times. There is no fresh content, and no ‘one shot’ that will shake the public sentiment.
Elections are held on the current public sentiment, not on the legacy of the past. Despite this, they are still trapped in familiar language and echoes aimed only at the fixed support base. Far from expanding the scope, even the ‘big tent’ strategy of political solidarity and integration has disappeared. Politics is a living organism, but it is too static. There is no vitality, and no movement toward change is visible.
Above all, the problem is the ‘absence of a decisive move.’ The will to turn the tide and the courage to execute it have disappeared. The message is scattered, the content has lost its vitality, and the leadership is losing its center. This is no different from remaining silent in front of the voters. Such politics without direction inevitably ends in defeat. The flow has already tilted, and like moths flying toward a flame, they are rushing toward defeat without realizing it. It may be a somewhat exaggerated metaphor, but the important thing is that even the sense of crisis is fading amid this helplessness.
Politics is not a stage for those who wait for miracles, but for those who create miracles. It is not too late even now. We must change the game. With strong determination and unified leadership, we must summon strategists once again and reestablish a message that penetrates the hearts of the people. Nothing can be changed with half-hearted compromises and vague directions.
Kim Moon-soo is now standing at a crossroads in history. Should we charge straight toward the cliff or courageously change course? History always opens up to those who prepare for a reversal.
