충남 서산시가 관내 안전 취약계층 32세대를 대상으로 무료 전기 안전점검을 시행하며 전기 화재 예방에 총력을 기울이고 있다.
서산시는 지난 5월 12일부터 시작된 이번 점검을 오는 30일까지 진행한다고 밝혔다. 이는 전기 설비 노후 등으로 인한 화재 위험을 사전에 차단하여 시민들의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위해 마련된 사업이다.
주요 점검 대상은 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 장애인, 한부모가족, 65세 이상 노인으로만 구성된 세대, 다문화가족, 청소년 가장 세대 등입니다. 시는 점검 대상 세대를 직접 방문하여 누전차단기, 콘센트, 전선, 전등 등 주요 전기 설비의 상태를 꼼꼼히 확인 한다.
