경주시는 지난해 11월부터 올해 9월까지 도로환경 개선, 자전거도로 정비, 도시 경관 정비 등 총 44건의 정비사업을 순차적으로 진행 중이며, 이 가운데 31건은 설계를 완료했고, 23건은 이미 공사에 착수했다. 나머지 사업들 역시 오는 6월까지 공사에 돌입할 계획이다.
