논산시, ‘함께 사는 세상을 위한 가족축제’ 24일 개최

가정의 달 5월을 맞아 충남 논산시가 지역 내 모든 가족이 함께 어우러질 수 있는 축제의 장을 마련한다. 

오는 24일 오전 10시부터 논산시민가족공원 일원에서 ‘제3회 함께 사는 세상을 위한 가족축제’가 개최된다. 이번 행사는 논산시가 주최하고 논산시가족센터가 주관하며, 다문화가족을 비롯해 다자녀가족, 3세대 가족, 한부모가족 등 다양한 가족 형태가 참여 대상이다.

행사는 오전 11시 기념식을 시작으로 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성된다. 본 행사에 앞서 메인무대에서는 60분 동안 로봇 퍼포먼스와 풍선·비눗방울 공연이 펼쳐지고, 논산시립합창단의 무대도 시민들의 발길을 붙잡을 예정이다.

기념식은 개회선언과 국민의례, 주요 내빈 소개로 문을 열고, 이어 모범가족과 가족지원 유공자에 대한 표창 수여식이 이어진다. 시는 가족의 의미를 되새기고 지역 사회 안에서 가족 구성원 간 유대를 더욱 공고히 하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

체험 중심의 부대행사도 풍성하다. 행사장 곳곳에는 '비즈 팔찌 만들기, 가족사랑 엽서함, 전자 명함 키트 만들기, 세계 전통놀이 체험' 등 참여형 프로그램이 운영된다. 

가족 단위 방문객들이 직접 체험하고 소통할 수 있는 이들 부스 외에도 다양한 먹거리 코너와 가족벼룩시장 등도 마련돼 축제의 흥미를 더한다. 어린이들이 참여한 그림공모전의 수상작 발표도 현장에서 함께 진행될 예정이다.

논산시 관계자는 “이번 가족축제는 다양한 가족이 서로를 이해하고 함께 어울리는 화합의 장이 될 것”이라며 “가족 간 소중한 추억을 만들 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 많은 준비를 했다. 시민 여러분의 적극적인 참여를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

논산시는 올해로 3회째를 맞는 가족축제를 통해 지역사회 내 가족친화적 문화를 확산시키고, 다양한 가족 구성원들이 차별 없이 공존할 수 있는 환경 조성에 앞장서고 있다.
