[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시복지재단은 지난 20일 오후 3시, 동상동다어울림센터 다목적강당에서 “김해시 거주 외국인 생애주기별 지원방안 모색”을 주제로 제30차 김해복지포럼을 개최했다.
이번 포럼은 김해시에 거주하는 외국인 주민들의 다양한 생애주기별 필요를 충족하는 구체적 지원 방안을 찾고, 더불어 살아가는 지역사회를 만드는 데 기여할 수 있는 정책적 대안을 모색하는 데 중점을 두었다.
1부 주제강연은 ‘김해지역 외국인주민 현황 및 대응 방안’을 주제로 김혜정 선임연구위원(울산광역시복지가족진흥원)이 발표했다.
2부 토론은 장수한 교수(인제대학교 사회복지학과)가 좌장을 맡고, 강옥숙 팀장(김해시 여성가족과 외국인복지팀), 황인숙 부센터장(김해시가족센터), 김대근 센터장(가야글로벌센터), 김민아 서포터즈(김해시 외국인 주민 서포터즈)가 ‘외국인 주민 생애주기별 맞춤형 지원 방안’에 대해 논의하고, 사례를 공유하는 시간을 가졌다.
김해시복지재단 관계자는 “ 생애주기별 복지정책을 촘촘하게 마련해 나가는 것은 포용적 복지 도시로 나아가기 위한 중요한 첫걸음이 될 것”이라며, “현장의 목소리를 담은 사업 및 프로그램을 수행할 수 있도록 노력하겠다 "고 밝혔다.
