충남 청양군이 지역경제에 활기를 불어넣기 위한 재정 조기 집행에 본격적으로 나섰다. 상반기 예산 집행률 제고를 위해 각 부서별 집행 상황을 면밀히 점검하고, 집행 부진 사업에 대해서는 보완 대책을 마련하는 등 전방위적인 관리체계를 가동하고 있다.
군은 지난 21일 군청 상황실에서 윤여권 부군수 주재로 '2025년 2분기 신속집행 추진상황 보고회'를 열고, 상반기 재정 집행 실적과 향후 계획을 공유했다. 이 자리에는 각 실·과장이 참석해 부서별 집행 현황을 보고하고, 문제점과 개선 방향을 논의했다.

올해 설정한 상반기 신속집행 목표는 집행률 기준 61%에 해당하는 2,402억 원이다. 군은 목표 달성을 위해 1분기에 이어 2분기에도 ‘신속집행 추진단’을 운영하며, 실적 점검을 상시화하고 각종 행정 절차나 계약 과정에서 발생하는 장애 요인을 선제적으로 해소해 나가기로 했다.
