세종시가 22일 세종시청 대회의실에서 '2025년 중소기업제품 등 공공구매제도 설명회'를 열고, 공공기관의 중소기업제품 우선구매 확대를 위한 제도적 이해도 제고에 나섰다.
이번 설명회는 세종시청 본청을 비롯해 산하기관과 지방공기업 등 총 9개 기관의 구매담당자를 대상으로 진행됐다. 중소기업제품 우선구매 제도의 중요성을 알리고, 실질적인 구매 확대를 위한 실무 지침을 공유하기 위해 마련된 자리다.
설명회에서는 중소기업제품 구매목표 비율제도, 기술개발제품 우선구매 제도 등 중소기업 지원과 직결되는 주요 제도들에 대한 구체적인 설명이 이뤄졌다. 특히 공공기관의 구매 책임자들이 실무에 바로 활용할 수 있도록 실제 사례 중심의 안내가 함께 제공됐다.
세종시는 기존에는 시청 각 부서 회계 담당자를 대상으로만 공공구매 설명회를 진행해왔지만, 올해부터는 범위를 지방공기업 및 출자·출연기관으로 확대해 중소기업제품 구매 인식의 저변을 넓히겠다는 전략이다.
시는 향후에도 각 기관의 구매 실적을 지속적으로 점검·관리하고, 우수 실적을 기록한 기관에는 인센티브를 제공하는 등 중소기업제품 공공구매를 유도하는 다양한 방안을 추진할 계획이다.
세종시 관계자는 “중소기업제품 구매는 지역경제 활성화의 핵심 수단”이라며 “공공기관이 선도적으로 나서 중소기업의 판로 확보에 기여할 수 있도록 다양한 제도적 기반을 마련해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
