전북교육청이 학령인구 감소에 따른 지역 소멸 위기 대응과 지역 산업 맞춤형 인재 양성 기반 조성을 위해 외국인 유학생 유치에 포문을 열었다.
22일 전북교육청은 창조나래 회의실에서 베트남 교육훈련부 산하 국제교육개발센터(CIED)와 '직업계고 외국인 유학생 유치를 위한 업무협약(MOU)'을 체결하고 두 손을 맞잡았다.
이날 협약식에는 문형심 창의인재교육과장과 베트남 교육훈련부 국제교육개발센터 판 탄 빈(PHAN THANH BINH)부센터장 및 외국인 유학생 선도학교장 등 10여 명이 참석했다.
