브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 27일 오전 대전시 대덕구 대덕구청에서 김주형 한국타이어 문화담당 상무, 최충규 대덕구청장, 박재용 대덕구자원봉사센터 이사장 등이 참석한 가운데, 1000만 원 상당의 ‘희망의 빛 키트’ 전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.
이번 ‘희망의 빛 키트’ 전달식은 대전시 대덕구 관내 독거노인 및 장애인 등 취약계층 60여 세대를 대상으로, 가정 내 노후된 실내 조명 기기를 최신 설비로 교체하여 이들의 주거환경 개선에 도움을 제공하고자 기획됐다.
이날 전달식을 통해, 해당 가정에는 무선 리모컨으로 조작 가능한 고효율 LED 조명기기, 스위치, 콘센트 등으로 구성된 키트가 전달되어 설치될 예정이다.
서의돈 한국타이어 안전생산기술본부장은 “희망의 빛 키트가 지역사회 내 거동이 불편하신 취약계층 주민들의 삶의 질을 개선하는데 조금이나마 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 형태의 지역 밀착형 사회공헌활동을 계속 펼쳐 나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.
