브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 강사빈 국민의힘 중앙선대위 부대변인은 28일 "대통령 선거가 1주일도 채 남지 않은 상황에서 지난 27일 열린 마지막 TV토론은 지도자의 자격과 품격을 평가할 중요한 자리였으며, 그 자격과 품격을 보인 인물은 김문수 후보뿐이었다"고 밝혔다.
강 부대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "어제 토론을 본 많은 국민들께서 참담함을 느끼셨을 것이다. 대통령이 되겠다는 사람들, 이른바 정치 지도자들이 보여준 적나라한 수준은 실망 그 자체"라며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "토론의 주제가 '정치 양극화'였음에도 불구하고, 정작 그 자리에서는 정치 양극화의 해법은커녕 폐해만이 더욱 적나라하게 드러났을 뿐"이라며 "이재명 후보는 대선 후보를 넘어 일반인이라 하더라도 눈살을 찌푸리게 할 과거의 언행과, 현재까지 계속해서 논란이 되고 있는 각종 비리 의혹에 대해 국민 앞에 제대로 사과해야 한다"고 비판했다.
이어 "특히 대법원의 유죄 취지 파기환송 결정에 대응해 대법원을 뒤엎겠다는 식의 '방탄입법' 시도는 매우 부적절하다"고 비판했다.
강 부대변인은 "김문수 후보는 이러한 '비호감 경쟁' 속에서도 유일하게 '대법관 수 확대 입법 추진'과 이재명 후보의 비리 의혹 등 국민이 궁금해하는 핵심을 집중적으로 짚어내며, '토론다운 토론'을 보여줬다"고 평가했다.
그는 또한 "지도자의 자격을 증명하고 그 품격을 보여준 사람은 김문수 후보뿐이었다"며 "정치 양극화의 주범들을 몰아내고, 우리의 대한민국을 지켜내기 위해 국민의힘과 김문수 후보에게 힘을 모아주시길 바란다"고 호소했다.
