충남 보령시가 지난 27일 보령문화의전당에서 지역 내 재가 암 환자 및 그 가족 60여 명을 초청해 ‘희망 동행’ 자조모임을 열었다고 28일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 암 투병으로 인한 심리적·사회적 고립감을 줄이고, 정서적 지지망을 형성하며 자가 건강관리를 유도하기 위한 취지에서 마련됐다.
이날 모임은 다양한 체험 활동과 실질적인 정보 제공으로 참여자들의 호응을 얻었다. 특히 피톤치드 성분이 풍부한 편백큐브를 활용한 손뜨개 공예 시간은 스트레스 해소와 심리 안정에 효과적인 프로그램으로 참가자들의 만족도를 높였다.
