한국 사회는 박근혜 전 대통령-윤석열 전 대통령을 탄핵하는 것을 경험했다. 이는 정치권의 원인제공과 여론-언론의 역할이 컸다.
다가오는 6.3 대통령 선거에서 누가 대통령이 되든지, 어느 당이 여당이 되든지, 박근혜-윤석열 탄핵 수순에 노출될 우려가 존재한다. 이 사실은 두 번의 탄핵 경험이 축적한 경험 측이다. 이를 방지하려면, 보수-진보로 엇갈려 투쟁하는 언론을 바로잡는 것이 우선이어야 한다. 언론 개혁(改革)이 필수적이다.

예측하건데, 한국 언론 매체들의 폐간이 잇따르는 빙하기(氷河期)가 다가오는 듯하다. 인터넷 세상으로 세상 구조가 바뀌면서 종이 신문 시대가 저물었다. 종이신문들은 명맥만을 유지하는 형국이 됐다. 거기에다가 우리나라 인터넷 매체 수가 1만1천개를 상회 했다. 인터넷 저널로 분류되는 유튜브 숫자가 100만개 이상이라고 한다.
이들, 대량 매체들은 조기(早期) 대선이라는 정국(政局)의 어수선함 속에서 자양분을 빨아먹고 생존해왔다. 그런데 6.3 대통령 선거전이 끝나고 새로운 정부가 들어서게 되면, 정치적 혼란이 수습돼, 사회 안정기(安定期)로 접어들 것이다. 이렇게 되면, 매체들이 줄 도산하는 빙하기가 시작될 수 있다는 게 필자의 생각이다.
그 뿐 아니라 박근혜-윤석열 두 정권은 탄핵경험을 가지고 있어, 6.3 대통령 선거를 거쳐 탄생할 새 정부에 대한 탄핵가해 현상이 조기에 가시화될 우려에 직면할 수 있다.
대선에서 승리한 정당이나 승리한 대통령을 향해 더욱더 다양한 정치압박을 가할 수 있는 정치여건이 성숙돼 있기 때문이다. 이에 언론이 가세할 것. 새 정부 인수팀은 언론개혁을 위한, 전문가 영입을 통한 정치안정 꾀하기가 시급할 수 있다.

매체 대량시대, 하고 많은 매체들이 생존위협을 받게 돼 있다. 그 어떤 매체라도, 매체가 생존할 수 있는 길을 모색해야만 한다. 매체가 없는 세상이란, 깜깜이 세상이다. 정보유통이 안 되는 세상에서는 자본주의가 발을 붙일 수 없다. 자본주의 사회가 쇠락하게 된다.
자본주의가 왕성해지려면, 언론매체가 살아나야만 한다.
한국은 세계 10대 경제대국으로 진입했다. 선진국으로 진입한 것이다. 그렇다면, 언론개혁 또한 선진국형 모델을 만들어낼 필요가 있다. 인터넷-인공지능에 맞는 언론개혁이 요망된다. 이는 차기정부가 해야 할 일이다. moonilsuk@naver.com

Korean society experienced the impeachment of former Presidents Park Geun-hye and Yoon Seok-yeol. This was largely due to the political circles providing the cause and the role of public opinion and the media.
There is concern that no matter who becomes president or which party becomes the ruling party in the upcoming June 3 presidential election, there will be an impeachment process for Park Geun-hye and Yoon Seok-yeol. This fact is based on the accumulated experience of two impeachments. In order to prevent this, the priority should be to correct the media that is struggling between conservatives and progressives. Media reform is essential. I predict that an ice age is coming, with Korean media outlets shutting down one after another. As the world structure changed to the Internet, the era of paper newspapers came to an end. Paper newspapers are barely hanging on. In addition, the number of Internet media outlets in our country has exceeded 11,000. It is said that the number of YouTube channels classified as Internet journals is over 1 million. These mass media outlets have survived by sucking up nutrients amid the political chaos of the early presidential election. However, once the June 3 presidential election is over and a new government comes into power, the political chaos will be resolved and we will enter a period of social stability. If this happens, I think an ice age of media outlets going bankrupt one after another could begin. In addition, since the two administrations of Park Geun-hye and Yoon Seok-yeol have impeachment experience, there is a concern that the impeachment phenomenon against the new government that will be born after the June 3 presidential election will be visible early. This is because the conditions for applying more diverse political pressure to the party that won the presidential election or the president who won the election have matured.
The new government transition team may urgently seek political stability through the recruitment of experts for media reform.
In the era of mass media, many media outlets are facing a threat to their survival. Any media outlet must find a way to survive. A world without media is a dark world. Capitalism cannot take root in a world where information cannot be distributed. Capitalist society will decline. In order for capitalism to flourish, the media outlets must survive. Korea has entered the top 10 economies in the world. It has entered the ranks of advanced countries. If so, media reform also needs to create a model of advanced countries. Media reform that is suitable for the Internet and artificial intelligence is required. This is something the next government should do.moonilsuk@naver.com
