서울예술대학교 연기과를 졸업하고 세종대학교 교육대학원에서 연극을 전공한 그는 현재 모델과 배우로도 활동 중이다.
SBS 기상캐스터로 활동했던 정 아나운서는 현재 클릭나우TV MC 및 리포터, SBS 라디오DJ, 스피치 강사 등 다양한 분야에서 경력을 쌓고 있다.
