충남 보령시가 최근 홍콩과 중국, 대만 등 일부 아시아 국가에서 코로나19 확산세가 다시금 감지됨에 따라 지역 내 감염병 확산 방지를 위한 선제적 대응에 나섰다.
시는 여름철 재유행 가능성에 대비해 시민들에게 호흡기 감염병 예방수칙 준수와 고위험군 예방접종 참여를 적극 권고했다.
