중앙선거관리위원회는 2일 '기호 7번 황교안 무소속 후보'의 사퇴가 투표지에는 반영되지 않는다면서 투표에 유의해달라고 밝혔다.
황교안 후보는 지난 1일 후보직을 사퇴하고, 국민의힘 김문수 대선 후보 지지를 선언한 바 있다.
그러나 투표 용지는 황 후보 사퇴 이전에 인쇄됐기 때문에, 투표 용지에는 황 후보에 대한 기표 칸도 그대로 있으며 '사퇴'라는 문구도 따로 적혀있지 않다.
선관위 관계자는 "사퇴한 황교안 후보자에게 기표하는 경우 무효표가 되므로 유의하기 바란다"고 전하면서, 전국의 투표소마다 사퇴 안내문도 게시할 계획이라고 설명했다.
