제21대 대통령선거 본투표가 실시되는 6월3일, 대전과 세종, 충남도 광역단체장들이 지정된 투표소를 찾아 소중한 한표를 행사했다.
이장우 대전시장은 3일 오전 8시 동구 소제동 전통나래관에서 제21대 대통령선거 본투표를 마쳤다.
이장우 대전시장은 “모든 주권은 국민으로부터 나온다. 지도자의 권력은 국민에게서 위임 받은 것으로 그 권력이 건강하게 사용되기 위해 국민들이 직접 행사는 것이 투표”라며 “국민들께서 정말 한 분도 빠짐없이 투표하셨으면 좋겠다. 대한민국을 위한 주권을 꼭 행사 하시길 바란다”라고 말했다.

최민호 세종시장은 연동면 행복누림터에 마련된 연동면 제1투표소에서 부인과 함께 투표를 실시했다.
최민호 시장은 이날 오전 9시쯤 전광희 여사와 함께 투표장을 방문해 소중한 한 표를 행사했다.
투표를 마친 최민호 시장은 “유권자 한 표 한 표가 대한민국의 미래를 결정한다”며 “세종시민 여러분께서도 오늘 하루 소중한 권리를 반드시 행사해주시기를 바란다”고 당부했다.

김태흠 충남도지사는 보령시 웅천초등학교에 마련된 웅천읍 제2투표소를 찾아 제21대 대통령선거 투표를 마쳤다.
김 지사는 투표에 앞서 이른 새벽부터 투표사무에 종사하고 있는 사무원과 참관인 등 관계자들을 격려하고, 아침 일찍부터 투표하러 나온 도민들에게도 인사를 건넸다.
이와 함께 도민의 한 표가 대한민국과 충남의 미래를 결정하는 만큼 반드시 투표에 참여 소중한 권리를 행사해 달라는 뜻을 전했다.
