충남 금산군보건소가 제80회 ‘구강보건의 날’을 기념해 오는 10일 금산다락원 생명의 집에서 지역 아동과 주민을 대상으로 행사를 개최한다.
이번 행사는 구강건강에 대한 올바른 인식과 생활 속 실천을 장려하기 위해 기획됐으며, 다양한 체험 프로그램을 통해 전 세대가 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
‘구강보건의 날’은 건강한 치아 관리를 위한 예방적 중요성을 널리 알리기 위해 6세 영구치가 처음 나오는 시기인 ‘6’과 어금니(臼齒)를 의미하는 ‘9’를 조합한 6월 9일로 지정되어 매년 운영되고 있다.
행사에서는 유아와 아동의 눈높이에 맞춘 인형극을 통해 치아 건강, 올바른 양치 방법, 손 씻기의 중요성을 쉽고 재미있게 전달할 예정이다.
또한 행사장 곳곳에서는 구강건강 정보를 제공하는 부스와 함께 영양 스티커 자석 놀이, 흡연예방 교육, 손 씻기 OX 퀴즈, 가족 엽서 만들기, 포토존 등 다채로운 프로그램이 운영된다.
금산군보건소는 이번 행사를 통해 참가자들이 단순한 정보 습득을 넘어 실질적인 건강 습관 형성의 계기를 마련하길 기대하고 있다.
보건소 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해 어린이들이 올바른 구강건강 습관을 자연스럽게 형성할 수 있을 것”이라며 “지역사회 전체가 통합 건강 증진에 대해 관심을 갖고 실천할 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 금산군은 앞으로도 보건소 중심의 지역 건강 프로그램을 확대해 아동, 청소년은 물론 성인과 노년층까지 아우르는 전 생애주기별 건강관리 정책을 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
