이번 박람회는 ‘K-농업기술! 세계로, 미래로’를 주제로, 농업과학기술의 미래를 조망하고 다양한 R&D 성과를 체험할 수 있는 자리로 마련됐다.
‘대한민국 농업 히어로, 기술로 말하다! 미래로 답하다!’라는 슬로건 아래 열리는 이번 박람회는 연구개발 성과와 현장 보급 사례를 일반 시민과 관광객이 쉽고 흥미롭게 접할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
개막식에는 농업인과 학계, 연구기관 관계자들이 대거 참석해 K-농업기술의 융복합 연구 방향과 글로벌 경쟁력 제고를 위한 전략을 공유했다.
전시관에서는 ▲미래 성장 견인 ▲정책 지원 및 현안 해결 ▲지역 활력과 국제 협력 등 농촌진흥청의 주요 과제를 중심으로, 농업 위성과 로봇, 산업곤충, 약용작물, 국산 벌꿀, 가축 생명자원 등 첨단 기술이 전시되어 관람객들의 이목을 끌고 있다.
또한 전국 농업기술원, 산업체, 대학이 함께 참여하는 학술 토론회와 공동 연수회도 열려 주요 농업 현안에 대한 심도 깊은 논의가 이루어질 예정이다.
