[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주노인일자리창출지원센터는 ‘노인일자리 및 사회활동지원업’의 일환으로 노인 공익활동 참여자 610여명을 대상으로 뜻깊은 문화활동을 진행했다고 10일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 문화생활의 기회가 상대적으로 적은 노인일자리 참여 노인들에게 문화 향유의 기회를 제공하고, 참여자들 간의 유대감과 정서적 교감을 증진시키기 위해 마련됐다.
센터는 경남문화예술회관에서 창작 연희극인 ‘찾아가는 소싸움판 우왕전(牛王傳)’을 관람하는 시간을 준비해, 참여 노인들에게 특별한 하루를 선사했다.
이날 공연은 진주의 전통문화인 소싸움을 소재로 풍물놀이와 경상도 지역의 농악을 현대적으로 재구성한 창작 판굿 형식의 연희극으로 관객들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
공연을 관람하는 노인들은 박수와 환한 미소를 보이기도 했고, 일부 노인들은 흥겨운 장단에 어깨를 들썩이며 함께 호응하는 등 현장은 활기찬 분위기로 가득했다.
