충남 서산시의회가 6월 10일 제306회 제1차 정례회 첫 본회의를 열고 16일간의 공식 의정 일정에 들어갔다.
이번 정례회는 본회의 2일, 행정사무감사 9일, 상임위원회 활동 3일, 예산결산특별위원회 1일로 구성되며, 총 18건의 안건을 심의할 예정이다. 주요 안건으로는 2024회계연도 세입·세출 결산 및 예비비 지출 승인, 조례안 7건, 동의안 2건, 승인안 1건 등이 포함되어 있다.

이날 본회의에서는 가선숙 의원이 ‘어르신 교통복지 연령 기준 완화’를, 김용경 의원은 ‘현수막 친환경 소재 사용과 재활용 활성화를 통한 탄소중립 촉구’를, 최동묵 의원은 ‘불법 폐기물 매립과 서산시 행정 현황’을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 진행했다.
조동식 의장은 개회사를 통해 “행정사무감사를 통해 잘한 점은 격려하고 부족한 부분은 원인 분석과 개선책 제시에 집중하겠다”며 “시민 눈높이에 맞는 정책 집행이 이뤄질 수 있도록 꼼꼼히 살피며 의회 본연의 역할에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
