충남 당진시가 2025년도 제1기분 자동차세 73,794건, 총 71억 원을 부과했다고 11일 밝혔다.
자동차세는 매년 6월(1기분)과 12월(2기분) 상·하반기로 나누어 과세되며, 이번 1기분은 6월 1일 현재 자동차등록원부상 소유자에게 올해 1월 1일부터 6월 30일까지의 보유 기간에 대해 부과된다. 다만, 연세액 10만 원 이하 차량은 1년 치 세액이 모두 부과되며, 지난 1월 또는 3월에 연세액을 미리 납부한 차량은 이번 납부 대상에서 제외된다.
