대통령실이 11일 국민추천제 시행 첫날 1만1324건의 추천이 접수됐다고 밝혔다.
강유정 대변인은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실 브리핑을 통해 "시행 첫날 인사혁신처 국민추천제 시스템을 통해 9900여 건·공식 메일 1400여 건 등 총 1만1324건이 접수됐다"고 전했다.
전날 대통령실은 장·차관·공공기관장 등 대통령이 임명하는 주요 공직 대상으로 한 국민추천제 도입을 발표하며 접수에 들어간다고 밝힌 가운데 접수 첫 날인 이날 가장 많은 추천이 들어온 순을 보면 법무·보건복지부 장관·검찰총장 등 이었다.
강 대변인은 "새 정부 과제인 검찰 개혁과 국민들 피부에 와닿는 복지정책을 잘 펼칠 인재에 대한 관심이 그만큼 높다는 방증"이라고 덧붙였다.
대통령실 관계자는 이날 "(이재명 대통령에게도) 당연히 보고 들어간다"며 "대통령도 같이 살펴보고 방안을 논의 예정"이라고 전했다.
