세종시 제7기 시정모니터단이 12일 출범했다.
세종시는 이날 나성동 행복누림터에서 제7기 시정모니터단 발대식을 갖고 활동에 들어갔다.
109명으로 구성된 시정모니터단은 각종 지역 여론을 시민의 눈높이에서 면밀하게 살펴보면서 불편사항을 해소하기 위해 공개 모집을 거쳐 선발됐다.
이날 위촉식에서는 시정모니터단 제도의 목적과 활동 방법, 인센티브 제도 등을 설명하고 제7기 시정모니터단의 성공적인 출범을 축하했다.
최민호 시장도 위촉식에 참석해 시의 주요 성과와 5대 비전을 소개하고 시정모니터단과의 활발한 협력을 통해 정책 공감대를 형성할 것을 강조했다.
시정모니터단은 향후 2년 동안 주요 시책과 행사 등에 대한 지역 여론을 수렴하면서 시민의 시각에서 다양한 의견을 제시할 예정이다.
