급변하는 사회 환경 속에서 공직자의 창의적 사고와 유연한 태도가 더욱 요구되는 가운데, 대전교육연수원이 인문학을 매개로 한 직무 역량 강화에 나섰다.
대전교육연수원은 6월 12일부터 13일까지 이틀간 대전시교육감 소속 지방공무원 40명을 대상으로 ‘나를 채우는 인문학 여행(2기)’ 연수를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 연수는 공직사회의 고정된 사고에서 벗어나 변화에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있는 조직 문화를 만들기 위한 목적으로 기획됐다. 특히 인문학적 관점을 통해 창의력과 사고력을 함양하고, 정서적 안정까지 도모할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램이 마련됐다.
연수 내용은 AI 시대에 요구되는 인문학의 역할을 탐색하는 ‘디지털 대전환 시대, AI시대의 인문학’을 비롯해, 고전철학을 현대적으로 해석한 ‘정의란 무엇인가? 플라톤이 답하다’, 예술 속 창의성을 조명하는 ‘예술가에게서 찾는 창의력의 세계’, 감성을 자극하는 ‘감성힐링 영화인문학’ 등 총 5개 직무 중심 과목으로 구성됐다.
이와 함께 소양 교육 과정으로 ‘힐링 티 테라피’를 편성해, 업무에 지친 심신을 돌보고 재충전할 수 있는 시간을 제공한다. 향과 온기를 통해 몸과 마음을 이완시키는 이 프로그램은 참여자들의 높은 만족도를 이끌어낼 것으로 보인다.
대전교육연수원은 이번 연수가 전통 인문학의 깊이를 유지하면서도, AI 기술 확산과 같은 현대적 이슈를 함께 다루는 점에서 차별화된 의미를 갖는다고 설명했다. 일반적으로 접하기 어려운 예술가들의 창작 과정과 철학적 논의를 함께 나누며, 공직자들이 새로운 시각을 갖고 행정에 접근할 수 있는 계기를 마련한다는 취지다.
