충남도, 출향도민과 함께 여는 ‘충남 방문의 해

충청남도와 전국 각지의 출향도민들이 ‘2025-2026 충남 방문의 해’의 성공적인 운영을 위해 마음을 모았다. 

도는 14일 서천군에서 열린 한산모시문화제 현장에서 ‘2025 향우회 초청의 날 및 출향도민 교류협력 소통한마당’ 행사를 통해, 지역과 출향민 간 교류의 물꼬를 더욱 넓히며 실질적 협력을 약속했다.

이번 행사는 충청남도와 (사)충남발전협의회, 3대 출향 향우회가 공동 주최·주관하고 김태흠 충남도지사, 김기웅 서천군수, 이진삼 충청향우회장, 이명범 충남도민회장, 이재욱·채희성 재인천충남도민회장 등 출향인사와 향우회원 약 1,000여 명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘다.

김태흠 지사는 인사말을 통해 “민선8기 주요 정책인 홍예공원 도민숲 조성, 고향사랑기부제 참여, 출향기업의 고향 투자 등에서 보여준 여러분의 따뜻한 애향심에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “700만 충청 향우회원들이 고향의 든든한 버팀목이자, 전국에 충남의 가치를 널리 알릴 홍보대사가 되어 주시기를 부탁드린다”고 당부했다.

이어 김 지사는 “충남은 백제역사문화와 기호유학, 천주교 성지 같은 정신문화유산은 물론, 서해의 아름다운 자연과 해양자원을 함께 지닌 지역”이라며 “충남의 매력을 더 많은 이들에게 소개해 주시길 바란다”는 뜻을 전했다.

행사는 향우회원들과의 환담을 시작으로 출향도민을 위한 초청 프로그램, 문화 체험 및 홍보 부스 운영 등 다채롭게 진행됐다. 특히 이번 소통한마당은 유네스코 인류무형문화유산으로 등재된 ‘한산모시짜기’를 알리는 한산모시문화제와 연계되어, 출향도민들의 높은 관심을 이끌어냈다.

참석자들은 한산모시 체험과 전통 공연을 관람하며 고향의 전통문화를 직접 체험했고, 동시에 충청남도의 미래 비전을 담은 다양한 행사 정보도 공유받았다. 행사장에는 '충남 방문의 해', '2026 태안국제원예치유박람회', '2027 섬비엔날레' 등 충남의 대형 프로젝트를 홍보하는 부스가 설치되어 큰 호응을 얻었다.
