이날 체결된 협약에 따라 한수원은 APEC 정상회의의 안정적 운영을 위해 5억 원 규모의 XR 모빌리티버스 구축을 지원하고, 오는 10월 준공 예정인 동천사택 200세대를 경찰·소방 등 행사 지원 인력의 숙소로 제공하기로 했다.
XR 모빌리티버스는 에너지 기술과 문화관광 콘텐츠를 접목한 첨단 이동형 전시관으로, 회의 기간 중 해외 정상과 관계자들에게 경주의 유서 깊은 역사문화와 대한민국의 디지털 기술력을 선보일 예정이다.
또한 행사기간 중 경주에 집중되는 지원 인력들의 주거 문제 해소를 위해 동천사택을 숙소로 제공, 원활하고 안전한 행사 운영에 기여하겠다는 계획이다.
한수원 측은 이번 지원을 통해 2025년 APEC 정상회의가 지역 경제 활성화는 물론, 국가 브랜드 이미지 제고에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

The XR mobility bus is a cutting-edge mobile exhibition hall that combines energy technology and cultural tourism content, and will showcase Gyeongju’s rich history and culture and Korea’s digital technology to foreign leaders and officials during the summit.
In addition, in order to resolve the housing issues of the support staff concentrated in Gyeongju during the event period, the plan is to provide Dongcheon House as accommodations, contributing to the smooth and safe operation of the event.
