(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 6월 16일부터 20일까지 진행되는 ‘2025년 제2회 초·중·고졸 검정고시’ 원서 접수 기간 동안, 민원인의 편의 증진을 위해 접수처 내 ‘검정고시 접수 전용 현장 민원실’을 한시적으로 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 기존에는 수기 발급 민원과 즉시 발급 민원이 순차적으로 처리되어 장시간 대기 및 교육청 내 장거리 이동으로 민원인들의 불편이 컸다.
특히, 접수처와 민원실 간 약 400m에 달하는 거리는 고령자, 휠체어 이용자, 영유아 동반자 등 교통약자에게 큰 어려움이 되었었다.
이에 시교육청은 검정고시 접수처 내에 ‘현장 민원실’을 설치하여 전자 발급이 가능한 검정고시 합격·성적증명서를 접수 현장에서 즉시 발급받을 수 있도록 개선했다.
검정고시 관련 민원의 약 75%가 즉시 발급 가능함을 고려할 때, 이번 조치로 대기 시간은 줄고 교통약자의 이동 불편이 크게 해소될 것으로 기대된다.
아울러, 교육청은 민원 취약계층의 접근성 향상을 위해 ‘민원콜 휠체어 이동 보조 서비스’를 도입한다.
민원인이 교육청 입구에서 전화로 요청하면 직원이 직접 휠체어를 가지고 동행하여 개인 휠체어 없이도 편리하게 민원 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 지원한다.
