충남 당진시가 세계 환경의 날(6월 5일)을 기념하여 지난 14일 시청 야외무대에서 '탄소중립! 환경교육한마당'을 성황리에 개최했다. 이번 행사는 시민들이 환경 보호의 중요성을 직접 체험하고 탄소중립 실천 의지를 다지는 소중한 기회가 되었다.
오전 10시부터 오후 3시까지 진행된 이날 행사에는 당진시의회와 당진환경운동연합, 당진지역환경교육센터(당진지속가능발전협의회), YMCA 등 지역 시민단체 관계자들을 비롯해 많은 시민과 어린이들이 참여하여 환경 보전의 가치를 함께 나누었다.
