김해시는 16일 내동 중앙사거리 일원에서 김해중부경찰서, 한국교통안전봉사회 등 6개 민간단체 회원 40여명과 함께 교통안전캠페인을 실시했다.
이번 캠페인은 차량 통행량이 증가하는 여름 휴가철을 맞아 교통사고 위험이 높아지는 시기에 시민들의 교통안전 의식을 제고하고, 사고 예방 문화를 확산시키기 위해 마련됐다.
참가자들은 주요 교차로에서 현수막, 어깨띠, 손팻말 등을 활용해 운전자 및 보행자 대상의 교통안전 메시지를 전달하고, 특히 ▲장거리 운전 전 차량점검 ▲음주운전 근절 ▲보행자 보호의무 준수 ▲횡단보도 앞 일시정지 등 핵심 수칙을 집중 홍보했다.
