16일 기획재정부에 따르면 이달 종료 예정인 수송용 유류에 대한 유류세 한시적 인하(현행 휘발유 10%, 경유·액화석유가스(LPG)부탄 15%) 조치를 오는 8월 31일까지 2개월 추가 연장한다.
이번 연장 조치는 중동사태로 국제 유류가격 변동성이 심화될 가능성이 있는 점 등을 고려한 것이다. 이를 통해 인하 전 세율 대비 △휘발유 리터당 82원 △경유 리터당 87원 △액화석유가스(LPG)부탄 리터탕 30원의 가격 인하 효과가 2개월간 유지된다.
