대통령실이 오는 19일 제26회 국무회의에 '2025년도 제2차 추가경정예산안'이 상정된다고 16일 전했다.
강유정 대통령실 대변인은 이날 오후 서면브리핑에서 “이재명 대통령은 취임 약 2주 만에 G7(주요 7개국) 정상회의 참석 등 주요 일정을 준비하는 동안 민생 회복을 위한 추경 편성을 추진하고 있다”며 이같이 밝혔다.
이번 2차 추경은 20조 규모로 1인당 최대 50만원 민생회복 지원금을 차등 지급하는 내용이 담길 것으로 알려진 한편 5000억 수준에서 지역화폐 발행을 지원하기 위한 예산도 편성될 전망이다.
앞서 지난달 정부는 재해·관세 대응 목적으로 13조8000억 필수 추경을 통과시킨 바 있는 가운데 지난달 통과된 1차 추경과 이달 상정될 2차 추경을 합한 전체 추경 예산 경우 30조를 넘어설 것이란 전망이다.
