이번 행사는 상봉1동 주민자치회(회장 곽보천)와 깔끔이봉사단이 공동 주관하고, 효사랑봉사회(회장 고장석), 자유총연맹(회장 김정자) 등 직능단체 회원 30여 명이 참여해 지하보도 내·외부를 정비했다.
현장에는 류경기 중랑구청장도 참석해 인사말을 전한 뒤, 주민들과 함께 청소에 참여했다. 참여자들은 준비운동 후 지하보도 바닥과 계단을 청소하고, 지하보도의 벽면과 천장까지 구석구석 정비했다.
