세종시교육청 학교지원본부와 국제구호개발 NGO 월드비전 대전세종충남사업본부가 교육 취약계층 학생 지원을 위한 협력에 손을 맞잡았다.
양 기관은 6월 17일 오전 10시, 세종시교육청에서 ‘학생맞춤통합지원 체계 구축 강화를 위한 업무협약’을 체결하고, 특히 가족돌봄 청소년을 위한 통합적 지원에 집중하기로 뜻을 모았다.
협약식에는 이미자 세종시교육청 학교지원본부장과 강은희 월드비전 대전세종충남사업본부장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자 12명이 참석했으며, 이번 협약을 통해 총 3000만 원 규모의 맞춤형 지원금이 마련됐다.
이 지원금은 가족 돌봄으로 인해 학업에 어려움을 겪는 청소년 10명을 대상으로, 1인당 최대 300만 원까지 생계·돌봄·미래 설계 등을 포함한 다양한 형태의 실질적 지원에 사용될 예정이다. 단순한 일회성 지원을 넘어, 교육 참여와 지속적 성장 기반을 마련하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 교육취약 학생 대상 맞춤형 지원 ,학생복지 프로그램 공동 개발 및 정보 공유 ,지속적인 협력 분야 발굴 등 다양한 영역에서 긴밀히 협력할 방침이다.
이미자 본부장은 “가족을 돌보며 자신의 학업과 미래를 포기할 수도 있는 상황에 놓인 학생들에게 이번 협약이 든든한 울타리가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 다양한 유관기관과의 협업을 통해 학생맞춤통합지원 체계를 더욱 견고히 다져나가겠다”고 전했다.
