(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 17일 도성훈 인천시교육감이 주안도서관에서 열린 미추홀구 시민소통참여단 ‘소통의 날’ 간담회에 참석해 교육 현안에 대한 시민 의견을 수렴했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 간담회는 시민과 함께하는 교육정책 실현을 위해 마련됐으며, ADHD 학생 지원 체계 구축, 학교 체험학습 운영의 형평성, 늘봄학교 운영 점검 방안 등 학생 학습권 보장과 교육복지 확대를 위한 다양한 제안이 논의됐다.
미추홀구 시민소통참여단은 올해 32명이 추가 위촉돼 총 118명으로 확대됐으며, 시민이 직접 교육정책 현안을 제안하고 토론하는데 중심 역할을 하고 있다.
도성훈 교육감은 “이번 간담회는 시민이 교육정책에 직접 참여하는 뜻깊은 자리”라며 “현장의 목소리를 정책에 반영해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 17일 샤펠드미앙에서 교직원, 학생, 학부모 등 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘함께 만들어가는 학교현장지원 방안 공청회’를 열었다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 공청회는 설문조사, 대토론회, 과제 발굴단 운영 등을 통해 도출된 학교현장지원 과제 중 주요 과제를 발표하고, 교육공동체의 다양한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 마련됐다.
공청회는 학교현장지원 추진 과정 및 주요 내용, 맞춤형 지원 과제, 학교 밖 이관 과제, 업무 경감·효율화 방안, 학생·학부모의 기대와 제안 순으로 진행됐다.
특히 고교학점제, 학교 민원 대응, 현장체험학습 등 학교 현장의 어려움을 반영한 주제뿐 아니라 이주 배경 학생, 특성화고 등 학교 유형별 맞춤 지원 방안에 대한 논의도 이뤄졌다.
또 불필요한 업무 폐지, 업무처리 방식 개선, 시스템 구축 등 실질적 개선책도 함께 다뤘다.
인천시교육청은 공청회에서 제안된 의견을 검토해 정책의 완성도를 높이고, 오는 7월 초 최종 학교현장지원 방안을 발표할 예정이다.
도성훈 교육감은 “정책은 현장에서 시작돼 현장에 맞게 실현되어야 한다”며 “공청회에서 수렴된 다양한 의견이 실제 정책으로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
