계양구에 따르면,이번 서약식은 ‘구민에게 신뢰받는 청렴 계양 실현’을 목표로 추진됐으며, 참석자들은 청렴의식 확산과 실천 의지를 함께 다졌다.
서약서에는 보조금 집행 시 관련 법령에 따라 적법하게 처리할 것, 개인의 이익을 위해 부당하게 이권을 행사하지 않을 것, 부정·부패 사실을 알고 있거나 경험한 경우 주저하지 않고 신고할 것 등의 내용이 담겼으며 단체장들은 이에 동의하고 서약서에 서명한 후 구에 제출했다.
또, 계양구 인재양성장학교육재단 이노경 이사장이 대표로 서약서를 낭독하며 “청렴하고 깨끗한 사회문화를 조성하는 데 모범이 되는 사회단체가 되도록 더욱 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
