충남 부여소방서(서장 김영배)가 본격적인 장마철을 앞두고 풍수해 대비에 나섰다. 소방서는 최근 침수 및 고립이 우려되는 은산지구 등 관내 20여 개소를 대상으로 현장점검을 실시했다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 기상청이 예보한 6월 하순 장마 시작 시기를 앞두고, 선제적인 재난 대응체계를 구축하기 위한 조치다. 부여소방서는 집중호우로 인한 피해 가능성이 높은 저지대와 산사태 위험지역 등을 중심으로 위험 요인을 사전에 파악하고, 대응력을 강화하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
주요 점검 사항은 '침수 및 붕괴 우려 지역에 대한 현장 확인', '상습 침수구역 내 소방차 진입로 확보 여부와 배수구 등 침수 방지시설 점검', '시설물 사전 위험 요소 확인 및 유관기관 통보', '각종 풍수해 대비 수방 장비 점검' 등이다.
김영배 부여소방서장은 “풍수해를 대비해 안전사고 예방 등 빈틈없는 긴급대응체계를 구축하여 군민의 안전을 지키는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
