【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 25일 본회의장에서 제291회 제1차 정례회 제2차 본회의를 열고 9일간 이어진 정례회 일정을 마무리했다.

이날 본회의에 앞서 정성룡 의원은 ‘북경주 대중교통 접근성 개선을 위한 순환버스 노선 신설’, 최영기 의원은 ‘올바른 반려동물 정책과 문화 정착’, 오상도 의원은 ‘중·저준위 방사성폐기물 지원 수수료 현실화’를 주제로 5분 자유발언을 실시해 지역 현안에 대한 개선 방안을 제시했다.
본회의에서는 ▲「경주시의회 회의 규칙 일부개정규칙안」 ▲「2024회계연도 결산 및 예비비 지출 승인안」을 포함한 총 21건의 안건이 상정됐으며, 조례안 14건, 규칙안 1건, 동의안 2건, 공유재산 관리계획 변경안 1건, 승인안 2건, 위원 추천안 1건 등 모두 원안 가결됐다.
이어 구성된 예산결산특별위원회에는 최영기·최재필·정종문·오상도·주동열·정원기·박광호·김종우·한순희 의원이 위원으로 선임됐으며, 주동열 의원이 위원장, 정원기 의원이 부위원장으로 각각 선출됐다. 예결특위의 임기는 오는 7월 1일부터 1년간이다.
본회의 마지막 순서로 진행된 시정질문에서는 김동해 의원이 ▲공기관 위탁사업비 지원의 효율성, ▲산불 예방 위한 임도개설 및 진화 헬기 현대화, ▲재선충 감염지 산림복구 방안 등을 집중 질의했으며, 김항규 의원은 ▲황성동 용강공단 일대의 교통안전 확보, ▲공단 관리 및 입주기업 이전 필요성 등에 대한 시의 대책을 물었다.
이동협 의장은 “예산결산특별위원회가 원활한 활동을 할 수 있도록 집행부의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다”며 의정활동의 내실화를 당부했다. 예결특위 위원장으로 선출된 주동열 의원은 “남은 제9대 시의회 임기 동안 시민의 세금이 올바르게 집행될 수 있도록 책임감 있게 예산심사에 임하겠다”고 각오를 밝혔다.

In the last order of the plenary session, Assemblyman Kim Dong-hae focused on ▲the efficiency of support for public institution commissioned project expenses, ▲the modernization of forest road opening and firefighting helicopters to prevent forest fires, ▲the restoration of forests in areas infected with pine wilt disease, etc. Assemblyman Kim Hang-gyu asked about the city’s measures for ▲securing traffic safety in the Yonggang Industrial Complex in Hwangseong-dong, ▲the necessity of management of the complex and relocation of companies.
Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop urged the substantive improvement of legislative activities, saying, “I ask for the active cooperation of the executive branch so that the Budget and Settlement Special Committee can operate smoothly.” Assemblyman Joo Dong-yeol, who was elected as the chairman of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee, expressed his determination, saying, “I will responsibly conduct the budget review so that citizens’ taxes can be properly executed during the remaining term of the 9th city council.”
