동국대 WISE캠퍼스 평생교육원-경주발전협의회, 지역 발전 위한 상호협력 협약 체결

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 평생교육원(원장 이영찬)과 (사)경주발전협의회(회장 김신재)는 지난 23일 교내 평생교육원 회의실에서 경주 지역의 지속 가능한 발전과 평생교육 활성화를 위한 상호협력 협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 ▲인적·정보 교류를 통한 협력체계 구축 ▲경주 발전을 위한 정책 연구와 세미나, 시민대학 및 학술 심포지엄 운영 ▲평생교육 프로그램의 분석·개발·운영·평가·컨설팅 등 다양한 분야에서 긴밀히 협력하기로 했다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 평생교육원은 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업 내 K-LEARNing 프로젝트를 기반으로 평생교육 영역 확대에 힘쓰고 있으며, 이번 협약은 이러한 노력의 일환으로 추진됐다. 이를 통해 지역사회 내 평생교육 네트워크를 더욱 공고히 하고, 실질적인 지역 발전 방안을 모색하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

이영찬 원장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 경주 발전을 위한 정책 연구와 학술 심포지엄을 적극 추진하고, 정부 정책과 연계한 평생교육 프로그램을 발굴해 대학 평생교육원이 지역사회의 중심적 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Lifelong Education Center (Director Lee Young-chan) and Gyeongju Development Council (President Kim Shin-jae) signed a mutual cooperation agreement for sustainable development and activation of lifelong education in the Gyeongju region in the conference room of the Lifelong Education Center on the 23rd.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Lifelong Education Center is working to expand the lifelong education sector based on the K-LEARNing project within the Regional Innovation Centered University Support System (RISE) project, and this agreement was promoted as part of these efforts.
