브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 중고차 플랫폼 기업 'K Car'(케이카)는 출시 10년 이내 740여개 차량 모델을 대상으로 평균 시세를 분석한 결과를 26일 발표했다.
케이카는 국산 준대형 세단 평균 시세가 전월 대비 1.5% 하락할 것으로 전망된다면서 7월 중고차 구매 고객에게는 좋은 기회가 될 수 있다고 조언했다.
그랜저, K8 등으로 대표되는 국산 준대형 세단은 신차는 물론 중고차 시장에서도 꾸준히 판매량 수위권에 이름을 올리는 인기 차종으로 장기렌터카 수요도 상당한 편이다. 때문에 신모델 출시 후 렌트 계약이 종료되는 시점에는 일시적 물량 증가로 인해 중고차 시세가 하락하는 경향을 보이고 있다.
가장 대표적인 모델인 그랜저 시리즈의 경우 ▲현대 더 뉴 그랜저 -2.2% ▲현대 그랜저IG -2.1% ▲현대 더 뉴 그랜저 하이브리드 -2.6% 등으로 전망되고, 같은 준대형급인 ▲기아 더 뉴 K8 -2.7% ▲기아 K7 프리미어 -1.3% ▲기아 K8 하이브리드 -1.2% 등도 약세가 예상된다.
수입차 중에서는 벤츠 딜러사들의 적극적인 프로모션으로 신차 구매가가 낮아지며 중고차 시세에도 영향을 미쳐 ▲E클래스 W214 -3.4% ▲GLE클래스 W167 -1.5% ▲S클래스 W223 -1.3% 등으로 전망되고 있다.
중고차 시장 전반적으로는 시세 변동이 통상적인 수준으로 안정화된 분위기가 이어졌다.
현대 팰리세이드가 수출 수요가 감소하며 -2.8%로 다소 약세가 예상되는 반면 수요층이 겹치는 기아 카니발 4세대 시세는 0.3% 상승으로 강세가 예상된다고 케이카는 전했다.
인기 모델인 기아 더 뉴 쏘렌토 4세대와 현대 더 뉴 싼타페는 각각 전월 시세를 유지(0.0%)하며 역시 강세가 예상된다.
전기차의 경우, 테슬라 모델Y가 신형 주니퍼 출시 영향으로 기존 중고차 매물의 시세가 약세를 보이며 -4.8% 하락할 전망이다.
반면 현대 캐스퍼 일렉트릭은 신차 인도 지연 이슈로 인해 중고차 시세가 3.4% 상승했다.
조은형 케이카 PM팀 애널리스트는 ”7~8월은 중형 SUV와 다목적 차량인 RV의 성수기로 주요 모델의 시세가 상승 또는 유지되는 경향이 나타났다“며 “시장내 물량 증가에 따른 국산 준대형 세단의 시세가 당분간 약세를 보일 것으로 예상되므로 구매를 고려하는 고객들에게는 좋은 기회가 될 수 있다“고 설명했다.
