이완섭 서산시장이 민선 8기 3주년을 맞아 “시민의 삶을 실질적으로 변화시키는 역동적인 시정을 펼쳐왔다”며 지난 3년간의 성과를 돌아보고, 남은 임기에도 초심을 잃지 않겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.
