이재명 대통령이 3일 취임 30일을 맞아 검찰 개혁에 대해 "일종의 자업자득"이라고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 청와대 영빈관에서 가진 '대통령의 30일, 언론이 묻고 국민에게 답하다' 대통령실 출입기자단과의 기자 회견에서 언론 질의 응답을 통해 "검찰 수사권·기소권을 분리하는 데 국민 반론이 지금 많지 않은 것 같다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "검찰 개혁은 국회가 입법적 결단을 할 사안으로 정부는 갈등·부작용을 최소화 하는 것”이라며 "추석 전까지 검찰개혁 제도 얼개 만드는 것이 가능하다"고 했다.
또 부동산 문제 관련해선 “시장 원리를 존중하고 실수요자를 보호한다는 대원칙 아래 실효성 있는 대책으로 부동산 시장 안정화에 힘쓰겠다”며 추가 신도시 계획에 대해 “지방균형발전 측면서 검토해봐야 한다”고 했다.
이어 “계속 수도권 집중이 문제 돼 주택문제가 생기는데 계속 신도시를 만들어나가면 그게 또 수도권 집중을 불러오지 않느냐는 말도 맞다”며 “추가로 새로 만들지는 지방균형발전 그리고 우리 한국 측면서 검토해봐야 할 것 같다”고 했다.
더불어 소비진작과 소득지원 효과를 언급 후 “효과는 일반적으로 평가되는 것보다는 높을 것”이라며 "(추가 추경은) 재정 상황이 녹록지 않고, 일단은 추가 계획은 없다”고 했다.
이 대통령은 추경 역할 관련해선 “경제가 좋아질 거라 보면 소비가 늘어나며 소비지수도 늘어난다”며 “마중물을 부어주면 선순환이 가능하며 정부가 할 일”이라고 했다.
이날 기자회견엔 대통령실 출입기자단 120여명이 참석한 가운데 지역 언론 6개 사 경우 화상 참여했다. 오전 10시부터 시작된 회견은 1시간 40분여 가량 이어졌다.
