이날 보고회에는 수탁기관, 수혜기업 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석해 2024년도 기업지원사업 실적을 점검하고, 향후 지원 방향에 대한 의견을 나눴다.
시는 지난 한 해 동안 총 67억 원 규모의 예산을 투입, 관내 582개 기업을 대상으로 다양한 지원 사업을 추진했다. 이번 보고회는 그간의 성과를 정리하고, 기업 현장의 애로사항을 청취해 정책 반영에 실질적인 도움을 주기 위한 자리로 마련됐다.
성과보고에는 △경북경제진흥원 △경북테크노파크 △포항테크노파크 △포항산업진흥원 △동국대학교 산학협력단 등 5개 수탁기관이 참여해 지원사업 개요, 2024년 실적, 2025년 추진계획을 발표했다.
우수사례 발표에서는 ㈜창성기업과 ㈜동성하이텍이 나서 사업 수혜 효과를 공유했다.
㈜창성기업은 ‘탄소소재 부품 기업지원사업’을 통해 고강도·경량 복합소재 개발에 성공하고, 이를 전기차 부품 생산에 적용해 특허 출원 1건, 신규 고용 4명, 12억 원 규모의 신규 계약 체결 등 뚜렷한 성과를 달성했다.
㈜동성하이텍은 ‘경주시 골든기업’으로 선정돼 디자인 개발 및 컨설팅 지원을 받았고, 강소기업 육성사업을 통해 기술개발과 생산성 향상에 기여했다고 밝혔다.
경주시는 이 외에도 △시군구 연고산업 육성 △탄소소재 부품 기업지원 △경북 글로벌 미래 모빌리티 포럼 △군집드론 아트쇼 실증 등 다양한 신규 사업을 적극 추진해 왔다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “이번 보고회를 통해 기업지원 사업의 실효성을 재확인했다”며 “2025 APEC 정상회의 개최를 계기로 지역 기업의 경쟁력 강화와 상생 기반 조성에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

In the presentation of best practices, Changseong Enterprise Co., Ltd. and Dongseong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. shared the benefits of the project.
Changseong Enterprise Co., Ltd. succeeded in developing high-strength and lightweight composite materials through the ‘Carbon Material Parts Enterprise Support Project’ and applied it to the production of electric vehicle parts, achieving notable results such as one patent application, four new jobs, and signing of a new contract worth 1.2 billion won.
Dongseong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. was selected as the ‘Gyeongju City Golden Company’ and received design development and consulting support, and announced that it contributed to technology development and productivity improvement through the strong small and medium-sized enterprise fostering project.
In addition to this, Gyeongju City has been actively promoting various new projects such as △ fostering local industries in cities and counties, △ supporting carbon material parts companies, △ Gyeongbuk Global Future Mobility Forum, and △ demonstrating cluster drone art shows.
Mayor Joo Nak-young of Gyeongju said, “Through this report, we have reconfirmed the effectiveness of our corporate support projects,” and “We will work harder to strengthen the competitiveness of local companies and create a foundation for mutual growth with the 2025 APEC Summit as an opportunity.”
