경남은행 사랑나눔재단, 거창군에 선풍기 100대 기탁

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난 7일, 경남은행사랑나눔재단이 지역 내 취약계층을 위해 선풍기 100대를 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 이날 기탁식에는 염재성 경남은행 거창지점장이 참석해 나눔 실천에 동참했다. 

이번 기탁은 ‘2025년 시원한 여름나기 취약계층 나눔사업’의 일환으로 진행됐으며, 연일 이어지는 폭염 속에서 어려움을 겪는 소외계층에게 시원하고 쾌적한 여름을 선사하고 자 마련됐다. 

2023년에는 거창사랑상품권, 선풍기, 장학금 등 6회에 걸쳐 총 3,592만 원 상당의 물품을, 2024년에는 김치, 거창사랑상품권 등 4회에 걸쳐 2,460만 원 상당을 기부하는 등 매년 명절과 연말연시를 포함해 다양한 형태로 이웃돕기 물품을 지원해 왔다. 올해에도 역시 선풍기 기탁 외에 식료품 꾸러미 100개(500만 원 상당)를 전달하는 등 활발한 나눔 활동을 이어가고 있다.

구인모 거창군수는 "매년 잊지 않고 지역사회를 위한 따뜻한 나눔을 실천해 주시는 경남은행사랑나눔재단에 진심으로 감사드린다"며, "기탁해 주신 선풍기는 어려운 이웃들이 폭염을 이겨내는 데 큰 도움이 될 것"이라고 말했다.
