충남 부여군이 지역화폐 ‘굿뜨래페이’의 활용도를 대폭 끌어올리는 지원책을 본격 시행한다.
군은 지난 4일부터 굿뜨래페이의 월 구매한도를 기존 70만 원에서 100만 원으로 상향하고, 충전 시 적용되는 할인율도 10%에서 15%로 높였다고 밝혔다.
이번 조치는 정부의 지역화폐 국비 예산을 확보한 데 따른 것으로, 지역 내 소비를 유도하고 소상공인 매출 회복을 뒷받침하기 위한 적극적인 재정투입이다.
특히 군은 기존 충전 인센티브 10%에 더해 5%의 소비 인센티브를 별도로 지원함으로써 실질적 구매력을 확대하고, 주민 체감 혜택을 극대화하겠다는 구상이다.
부여군 관계자는 “이번 지원 외에도 하반기 지역 축제와 명절 등 시기별 특성을 살려 골목상권 활성화와 내수 진작을 위한 지역화폐 확대 정책을 추진해 나갈 계획”이라고 설명했다.
실제로 부여군은 올해 상반기 국비 지원이 없는 여건 속에서도 내수 진작 필요성에 따라 자체 예산을 투입, 굿뜨래페이 인센티브를 유지하며 지역 상권 보호에 앞장서 왔다. 이번 국비 확보를 계기로 한층 강화된 정책은 골목상권과 전통시장, 자영업자에게 실질적 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
한편, 2019년 처음 도입된 굿뜨래페이는 누적 발행액 5,133억 원, 유통액 5,715억 원, 순환액 590억 원을 기록하며 부여군 경제 생태계의 중심축 역할을 해오고 있다.
