세종미래전략산업펀드 1호 투자기업 탄생…
양자과학기술 거점도시 도약 신호탄
세종시가 양자컴퓨팅 전문기업 ㈜큐노바를 ‘세종미래전략산업펀드’의 첫 투자 대상으로 선정하면서, 세종시가 첨단기술 산업의 중심 도시로 본격적인 행보에 나섰다.
세종시와 세종테크노파크는 7월 8일, ㈜큐노바가 미래전략산업펀드의 1호 투자기업으로 선정돼 총 15억 원의 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다.
이는 세종시가 첨단산업 유망기업을 전략적으로 육성하고자 지난 2월 출범시킨 400억 원 규모의 미래전략산업펀드의 첫 결실이다. 이 중 세종시는 20억 원을 출자했으며, 나머지 380억 원은 민간 자본이 참여했다.
펀드 운용사인 JB인베스트먼트는 지난 5월, 세종시로부터 추천받은 첨단산업 기업들을 대상으로 투자심의위원회를 진행해, 양자컴퓨팅 소프트웨어 분야의 원천기술을 보유한 큐노바를 선정했다.
