대전 동구의 골목 풍경이 예술의 시선으로 되살아난다. 동대전도서관이 7월 5일부터 27일까지 도서관 내 전시실과 복도 공간에서 ‘안녕하세요, 우리 동네 도서관입니다’를 주제로 어반스케치 전시회를 연다.
이번 전시는 도서관 인근 지역인 가양동, 성남동, 소제동을 중심으로 펼쳐지는 60여 점의 어반스케치 작품으로 구성됐다. 도시 재개발과 원도심의 흔적이 공존하는 이 지역의 일상과 정서를 김소형·조현화 두 작가가 손끝으로 포착해냈다.
어반스케치는 도시 공간을 현장에서 직접 스케치하는 예술 형식으로, 변화하는 도시의 순간을 시각적으로 기록하는 역할을 한다. 전시 작품들은 골목길의 굴곡진 담벼락, 오래된 주택의 지붕선, 시장 골목의 생동감을 섬세하게 담아내며 관람객에게 익숙하면서도 낯선 감흥을 전달한다.
